Inspired by an initial visit to Charleston House, Platonic Harmony is an Interior collection focused on making the intangible, tangible. The aesthetic of the house was a starting point for the direction of the project, with hand painted patterns, earthy tones and narrative based pieces.

The imagery came from an concept also close to the heart of Charleston - friendship and connection, and how that can be translated into textile form. Inital research came from discussion with friends and groups, identifying what it is within friendship and conversation which feels warm and welcoming.

Platonic Harmony was a graduate project which also provided imagery from natural dye research and exploration into natural screenprint pastes.
